CantosAI, Inc. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page describes what the Cantos platform collects and how we handle it.
What we collect
Account information — your email address, username, and password (hashed).
Purchase information — items bought, transaction history. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full numbers.
Usage data — basic analytics (page views, feature usage, device type, country) used to improve the platform.
Communications — messages you send to support.
What we use it for
Operating your account, your worlds, your sessions, and your purchases.
Processing your content through AI models so that Cantos can generate responses.
Sending early access updates, account notices, and (with your consent) marketing emails — opt out at any time.
Investigating abuse and prohibited content.
Improving the product and the platform.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share it only with:
Service providers — hosting, payment processing — who process it on our behalf under confidentiality.
Other users — only when you explicitly choose to publish or share content. Your private worlds stay private.
Law enforcement — when legally required.
AI models
Cantos uses AI models that we operate to generate responses. We do not use your activity to train models in ways that could expose your content to other users.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your account and your data at any time by emailing CantosGames@cantosai.com. Where applicable law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) gives you additional rights, we honor them.
Children
Cantos is intended only for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will close it and delete the associated data.

Cantos is a creative platform built by CantosAI, Inc. By creating an account, joining the early access list, or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Cantos. We do not knowingly accept users under 18; if we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will close it and delete the associated data. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity on your account. One person, one account.
Content range & tone
Cantos supports content across a wide range — from cozy adventures to mature, complex drama. Mature themes are gated behind an explicit personal opt-in. You set the tone for each world.
Your content & license to us
"Your Content" means anything you create on Cantos: characters, worlds, scenarios, settings, prompts, and the resulting AI-generated dialogue and scenes.
By using Cantos, you grant CantosAI, Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, copy, reproduce, modify (technically — for storage, transmission, and display), process, and operate Your Content as required to run the platform — including processing it through AI models to generate responses.
For content you choose to publish or share with other users, you additionally grant us the right to display, distribute, promote, and sublicense it on the platform and in marketing materials, with attribution to you where reasonable.
This license continues for as long as we host the content and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups and legal records. Deleting your account removes your content from public surfaces; some derivative or shared content may persist where other users have engaged with it.
Generated content
Cantos generates content using AI models in response to your prompts and your characters' configurations. You receive a license to use generated content within your Cantos account and on the platform; you do not have exclusive ownership of model outputs, and similar outputs may be generated for other users.
Privacy of your worlds
Your worlds are private to your account by default. Other users cannot see them unless you explicitly publish or share. We do not use your private content to train AI models in ways that could expose it to other users.
Sharing & the community
You can choose to share characters, scenarios, and other creations with other users. When you do, those users receive a license (via us) to use the shared content within Cantos. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you share.
Prohibited content
You may not create, generate, upload, or share content that:
Sexualizes minors in any way, real or fictional.
Sexually depicts real, identifiable people without their consent.
Threatens, harasses, or promotes violence against real people or real groups.
Contains malware, infringes third-party intellectual property, or violates applicable law.
We may remove violating content and suspend or terminate accounts without notice.
Purchases & virtual items
Cantos may offer themes, skins, character upgrades, and other digital items for purchase. By buying:
Items are licensed to your account, not sold. They are non-transferable, non-resellable, and have no real-world monetary value.
Sales are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law.
We may add, modify, or remove items, and we may discontinue items, at our discretion.
Items remain accessible while your account is in good standing and the platform offers them.
AI output disclaimer
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, unexpected, or offensive. You're responsible for reviewing what Cantos generates before relying on, sharing, or publishing it.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse other users, harm the platform, or attempt to circumvent content protections. You may delete your account at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms or change the platform. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
As is, no warranties
The platform is provided "as is" during early access and beyond. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CantosAI, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Cantos.
